Welcome to my corner of the internet!

First and foremost, I'm a scientist. I completed my Master’s degree in Natural Sciences back in 2021 and am beginning the next stage of my life - one which revolves around food. I’ve always been a very keen cook, and have enjoyed my experiences in professional kitchens, so took this passion through culinary school and restaurants.
As a scientist, I love looking into the how and why of cooking - questions like “Why do certain flavours work well together?”, “How can I make sure that my cakes are perfectly baked?” and “Where will Haute cuisine go next?”
I’m writing this blog as a collection of my thoughts; a place to share recipes, investigate the science a bit more deeply, and just to share my joy of cooking!
